Founded by Barbara-Helen and Alix Carter-Ward, Tubs & Cones is a small, family run ice cream business, new to the North East for 2010. We are currently able to offer our traditional 1940’s style ice cream bike for hire in County Durham and North Yorkshire. We are fully insured, we‘re registered with Durham County Council Environmental Health Department and we operate to the highest of food hygiene standards.
Tubs and Cones are currently able to cater for up to 500 people at your events; from weddings to garden parties, village fairs to charity fundraisers, christenings to corporate affairs. To add to the feel of your day we are able to wear a traditional uniform of a straw boater hat and long tied apron if required. Our aim is to help you make your event one to remember for all the right reasons! Our ice cream trike can be based in or outdoors, with or without a direct energy supply as we have our own generator to power the trike as and when needed. We can offer a selection of up to 5 different flavours of ice cream or sorbets at your event so there's something for everyone, from the traditional taste of creamy vanilla ice cream to the sparkling delight of champagne sorbet!
